Fire Claims

A burned home or business can leave you with many concerns.

Going through a fire loss is difficult. The building is most likely uninhabitable and many possessions have been lost. Additionally, the claims process can be complicated and lengthly due to the amount lost. It's important to remember that there are many steps to recovery and by accomplishing each of them, you can help restore what you've lost.

After the fire occurs:

Contact a Public Adjuster

Instead of trying to navigate the claim yourself, call in a professional who will guide you through the process. Public adjusters work solely for you and have your best interests in mind through each step of restoration.

Document the Damage

Take as many photos and videos as you can after the loss occurs. It's important to document evidence of the amount and extent of damage right after. If possible, try to prevent further damage from occurring.

Know the Basics of Your Policy

Having an idea of your coverage can be very helpful when speaking with potential public adjusters. Review your policy to see how much property and contents coverage you have. If your copy of the policy has burned, you can request a "certified true copy" from your insurance agent.
